What is PBAT?

PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate) is a biodegradable polyester. It is soft and flexible, which makes it suitable for thin films such as food wrap. Under suitable conditions it can be broken down by microorganisms into water, carbon dioxide and biomass.
